/panting/ Wh… why do I have to.. chop… the firewood…?

Oh it can’t be that hard! Besides, you’re doing an- uh- okay job at it!

But… why me..? You two are the… the carpenters here! /groans/ Look, even Kevin… knows I look stupid… /leans over, panting as he holds his head up on the upright butt of the axe/

Well uh— Oh! It never hurt to get out in the sun and do some hard labor once and a while! I mean look at me and Luke, we’re doing this all the time and we’re in great shape and feel refreshed! /chuckles and pats him on the back/ Besides Perry, you’re almost done! You can’t quit now!

I think I might’ve done that a couple times, actually. It’s always the thick forests I have trouble with.

Well it’s a good thing this forest isn’t very thick at all! But a good cluster here and there still, kind of a good mix in my opinion!/smile/ So Ellen, are you also camping out?

blueskiesandsweets:

Ha, I never really had a good sense of direction either. …I still don’t, really. [laughs a little]

/chuckles/ It takes a while to learn how things work in the woods, if you’re not careful you could be circling around the same tree and not even notice!

-He offers a sympathetic smile and nods.-  Ah, I understand. -Gently taking the heel in his dainty hand, he inspects the foot by first carefully wiggling the toes and making sure everything still moves. Then he notices the slight groove in the top of the foot and frowns.- Oh— I suspected something like this… The metatarsus…

-Looking to the other, his lips pull into a flat line.- I’m sorry, sir. While your foot doesn’t appear completely broken, I believe that you have a very serious break in one of the connecting “toe bones,” if you will— maybe even more than one break— and quite possibly a tear in a tendon, as well.

I would X-Ray you, but the doctor here forebode me from handling such large equipment on my own… -Smiling hopefully, he tilts his head slightly.- The very least I can do is wrap it in ice and put it in a brace for you.

/He winces as the other inspects the damage, biting the inside of his cheek to keep himself from letting out any ‘ouches’ and such he can’t help but groan in pain/

Really? /He lets out an exasperated sigh and slouches, almost hanging his head in shame/ oh this is just perfect… Oh- but some ice sounds heavenly right about now, thank you.

/He looks back up at him inquisitively/ So are you the doctors apprentice or something?

Just gorgeous♥

Just gorgeous♥

-Hiro watches him closely, eyebrows shooting up as he almost trips— though he sighs in relief as they both make it to the bed safe and sound.-

Well, I’m glad you’re safe. So, it’s your leg that hurts? Or your foot, perhaps? -He looks to the other’s left foot and bites his lip, noting the swelling and purple coloring around the ankle.- Oh, my… Yes, I think I know what the problem is…

-Hiro looked up to the stranger, speaking politely.- Er— would you like to take the shoe off yourself? I would certainly hate to injure you further.

It’s my foot, it kind of broke my landing when I fell off a roof /He nods and reaches for his shoe, he tries carefully to take both the shoe and the sock off without hurting himself further, but he made the mistake of rushing and he cringed when they came off/ —Ow! /He notices how bad it really looks/ Wow, I guess that fall was worse than I thought…

blueskiesandsweets:

Oh, wow! Well, I guess there’s no harm in learning things like that early. [smiles, shakes his hand] I’m Ellen! Nice to meet you.

/Smiles and takes his hand back/ It’s good to meet you too! /chuckles/ It really is helpful that’s for sure! I didn’t have the best sense of direction as a kid so it came in handy!

[eyebrows raised] Wow, that’s impressive!

/Checking it over for any mistakes/ Huh?- Oh! Thank you! It’s really nothing difficult though, I learned this when I was five!

[blinks] Really? You learned this when you were 5?

Yup! I used to live in a town where everyone had to learn ‘to be one with mother nature’ so they taught kids this kind of stuff early in case they ever got lost in the woods for a night or two! /He finished checking the hut, nothing where it shouldn’t be/ Perfect! /He turns and holds out his hand/ My name is Bo by the way, and yours?
